4th Annual Light the Way Walk & Fun Run Fundraiser

This year DC Candlelighters is partnering with the Chantilly Youth Association (CYA) for the 4th Annual Light the Way Walk & Fun Run Fundraiser. In addition to our virtual walk, CYA will hold an on-site 5K run. Become a virtual walker or on-site runner, participate in our online raffle or silent auction, or make donation to this fundraiser. Participants strive for their personal best as they walk, run, and have fun with this fitness challenge, cheered on by friends, volunteers, and family members. Form your teams today and join us for this amazing fundraiser in support of families of children fighting childhood cancer that need support, because kids can’t fight cancer alone. How do I form my team? Ask your family, friends, co-workers and business partners to join your team and help make this fundraiser a success! They can’t join you to walk or run, they can always donate. Anyone can make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraiser. Adult registration (12 and up)  is $35.00 per person and $15.00 for children ages 3 – 11.

Virtual Walk – The virtual walk can be held anytime on 9/27/26.

Fun Run – Registration for the Fun Run will begin at 7:00 am. The Fun Run will start at 8:00 am at Sully Highlands Park, 13808 Wall Rd, Herndon, VA 20171.

Raffles – Anyone can participate in our on-line raffles. Raffle winners will be notified via email after the raffle closes. Visit this page to view the Raffle Items and make your selection.

Silent Auction – We have pulled together some exciting items for you to bid on during our Silent Auction. You will receive alerts throughout the auction and automatic notification if you have the winning bid. Visit this page to view the Silent Auction and make your selection.

T-Shirts – T-Shirts will be handed out at the race. Virtual walkers T-Shirts will be mailed to them after the event.
