Rachel’s Royal Tea Party 2026

Rachel’s Royal Tea Party is for children currently on or off treatment and their siblings, ages toddler to 10 years-old. This will be an elegant afternoon of socializing, while remembering Rachel, the Angel daughter of one of DC Candlelighter’s founding members and co-president, Meg Crossett. Princesses and princes are encouraged to dress in their most regal and fancy outfits! Don’t worry if you don’t have anything, we’ll have plenty of outfits on hand to share and then the children will be able to “walk the runway” and “model” their outfits. Adults are also encouraged to wear their “fanciest” tea party clothes!

We’ll also have fun crafts like decorating crowns, tierras and straw-hats, and more.

Make sure and come hungry, tea, finger sandwiches, cookies and more will be severed before the runway show.
